  • Article Processing Charge

    01-05-2022

Articles published in the Journal of the Professional Association for Cactus Development are open access and are freely available online to all our readers, without any type of subscription, immediately after publication. Given the high production costs of the journal (domain fee, web page and web maintaining fee, web page backup fee -every 24 hours-, SSL certified fee and other), from 2022, the Journal of the Professional Association for Cactus Development asks the authors to provide, through their research grants or their institution a contribution of US$300.00 (three hundred dollars) per published paper as a fee of Article Processing Charge (APC). This shall not be in any way a requirement for acceptance and publication of the paper, which will be given by its merits.

To all authors of the Journal of the Profession Association for Cactus Development

    Dear Colleagues:

Regarding the Procedure for Receiving Submissions to the Journal of the Professional Association for Cactus Development (JPACD),  reiterated that contributions submitted to the JPACD should NOT be published or in the process of being referred in other Journals. This requirement includes those academic publications called "prepublication" or "preprints", which is a version of an academic or scientific article that precedes formal peer review and publication in an academic or scientific journal. Any contribution received on the OJS platform of JPACD that is determined that was published in another journal, including "preprints", will be rejected and in some cases, the author’s registration will be canceled and none of them will be able to submit contributions for 12 months.

    Kind regards

We are trying to relaunch it, so we will be very glad if you can submit contributions or inform your collaborators, Master and Doctoral science students about the possibility of publishing here (free of charge). Your submissions can be crucial to the success of new indexations of the journal.
