Abstract

Range resources are vital components of most succesful ranch businesses. All such resources are interrelated and cannot be managed separately if total ranch goals are to be attained. Range management programs use forage resources for the highest and best uses, coordinate these uses for optimum enterprise performance, maintain or improve the resources, and contribute to the achievement of ranch goals.
